  • Amyn Lalji works at the unique intersection of development practice, literary craft, and public discourse. With two decades of experience in global development—from refugee camps in East Africa to policy meetings in Geneva—he brings both analytical rigor and storytelling ability to everything he does.

As a consultant, Amyn specializes in disability inclusion, stakeholder engagement, and research methodologies, helping organizations from the UN system to grassroots NGOs develop more effective, inclusive approaches to their work.

As a novelist, he draws from extensive field experience to create fiction that examines how global systems affect individual lives, with particular attention to disability, migration, and social justice themes.

As an emerging public intellectual, he contributes commentary on development effectiveness, representation in literature, and the power of narrative to drive social change.
